On the auspicious occasion of Engineer’s Day, RUAS signed MoU with Indian Plywood Industries Research & Training Institute (IPIRTI). Moreover, IPIRTI is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Govt. of India. In addition, the University had organized Invited Talks and Panel Discussion from eminent Experts along with Student Competitions to commensurate the Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna, Sir M. Visvesvaraya. Prof. K.K. Raina, Vice Chancellor — RUAS and Prof. M. Sai Baba, Registrar — RUAS graced the MoU Signing Ceremony along with the Dean, HoD – Dept. of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and Faculty Members of FET. On the contrary, Dr. Shakti Singh Chauhan, Director — IPIRTI, Dr. Manoj Kumar Dubey, Joint Director and Team were present at the Peenya Campus of RUAS. The MoU intends to cooperate and participate in the areas of dissemination of Academic Information, conducting Joint Events, Collaborative Research by jointly applying to Funding Agencies in the areas of Natural Fibre Composites and Wood Science. In addition, utilization of research facilities is also being explored along with Internships/​Projects to Students at IPIRTI. Both, RUAS and IPIRTI are looking forward for a long-term relationship in the future.
