Overview of the Minority Cell at RUAS
The Minority Cell at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students from minority communities. Our primary goal is to ensure that all students, regardless of their background, have equal access to opportunities and resources necessary for their academic and personal development.
Objectives
- Promote Inclusivity and Diversity: Celebrate the rich cultural diversity within our university and promote an inclusive atmosphere where all students feel respected and valued.
- Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to minority students to help them navigate academic and personal challenges.
- Awareness and Sensitization: Organize workshops, seminars, and events to raise awareness about issues faced by minority communities and promote cultural sensitivity among the university community.
- Grievance Redressal: Offer a platform for minority students to voice their concerns and grievances, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Scholarships and Financial Aid: Assist minority students in accessing scholarships, financial aid, and other resources to support their education in coordination with the Directorate of Student affairs at RUAS.
