The University follows a fair and transparent examination system involving the various examination methods. The University conducts its Programmes using the Semester and/or Annual pattern of university examinations as per Academic Regulations of the respective Programmes.

Wherever applicable, the guidelines of the statutory and/or regulatory bodies such as DCI, PCI, NMC, Bar Council, etc. will be followed.

Board of Examinations (BOE) of the MSRUAS provides the comprehensive framework for carrying out all examination related activities by the Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE). The BOE continuously evaluates critically the various examination related processes, suggests reforms, when needed to uphold an emerging credible, valid, and reliable evaluation system with a quality centric focus.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations is responsible for the conduct of all university examinations, valuation, and the announcement of results and maintenance of student examination records for all programmes offered

Automation of Examination Process

The RUAS Portal (The Juno Campus ERP System) has been used to automate all the academic and administrative processes in the University. The complete Student Academic Life Cycle from admissions till the graduation along with other administrative processes such as HR, Finance and Accounting, Hostel, etc. are supported in the portal.

The RUAS Portal offers a complete automated examination module for all examination related activities.

This ‘RUAS Examination Regulations’ document aims at guiding the effective, efficient, and lawful conduct of university examinations comprising of Certificate, Diploma, UG, PG, and Doctor of Philosophy programmes offered by the MSRUAS.

Conversion of CGPA to Notional Percentage of Marks

The SGPA and CGPA are computed based on the Absolute Grading System.

The awarded SGPA/CGPA are converted to a notional equivalent of percentage marks, using the Conversion Formula given in the document

Examination Grievances Redressal

The University has a mechanism of addressing the grievances related to the examination processes.

As per the Sec 5.1 of the RUAS Examination Regulations Aug 2020, a mechanism is in place to address all the grievances/complaints related to the examination conducted by MSRUAS.

Any student who has any grievances/complaints related to the University examinations, may reach out to the Office of the Controller of Examination through the following
